Frustration: When you write Historical Fiction and discover that your presumption about a certain situation in a certain period in history was wrong by over 100 years... and then having to go back and fix the story line...
BUT... it's all good. I strive for thematic historical accuracy in my books, often spending as much (or more) time researching as I do actually writing. The discovery led me to write another essay for the English Historical Fiction Authors blog.
